A solution in which no more substances can be dissolved is called saturated solution.
Activity to understand saturated solution -
Take a glass tumbler.
Fill water in the glass tumbler.
Add half teaspoon of sugar in it and stir well.
This will get dissolve.
Keep on adding sugar with stiring.
After adding particular amount of sugar, you will observe that no more sugar is dissolving in the volume of water in the rumbler.
what does it means?
Well
It means that the maximum amount of sugar that could be dissolved in the given volume of water in glass tumbler has been added.
On the above activity is showed that after adding some amount of sugar in water no more sugar was dissloved.
