Aneuploidy :-

It is define as , one or more Chromosome are gain or lost.

It is of two types :-

1. Trisomy :-

When extra Chromosome is added that condition is called Trisomy.(47 Chromosome or 2n+1 condition)

2. Monosomy :-

When Chromosome is absent or lost it is called monosomy (45 Chromosome or 2n-1 condition)
