De Broglie Concept :-

According to this concept all Material Particles in nature behave like a wave whose length is equals to ( lambda).

 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \lambda =  \dfrac{h}{mv}

where,

h : Plank's constant

m : mass of particle

v : velocity of particle

Significance:

This equation is only applicable for microscopic particles. As these particles have very very small mass but their wavelength is large which is easy to calculate. Therefore, these microscopic particles such as electrons behave like a wave when they are in motion.

But on the other hand it is not applicable in our daily life because in large particles their mass is very large and their wavelength is small which can not be measured. As a result, Macroscopic bodies do not behave like a wave when they are in motion.
