They are far more different from the plant cell because they lack the cell wall which helps in the protection of the cell and also to withstand the very dilute medium in the Hypertonic solution. They also have different cell organelles in them which are completely different from those of the Plant cell. They even have the Contracitile vacouloes in them which helps in the execretion of the aninal cell and also to regulate the process of osmosis. They have they have the vacoules smaller than the plant cell. They have have centrioles which helps in the cell division process. They even lack the plastids which is responsible for the photosynthesis.
