Answer

⚫The anomalous properties of lithium are

◾Lithium is the first member of group 1 but shows digger from other members is same group because

◾Lithium atom and its ion are very small atom

◾It has high polarising power.

◾It has high ionization enthalpy and low electropositive character.

◾Metallic bonds are strong.

◾D-orbitals is absent in its valence shell.

☑ Anomalous Property of Lithium
=============================
=============================

• Lithium size is small in it's respective group.
[Very small size of it's ion and atom. As it is the 1st element.]

• It has high Polarisation power.

• It had very strong inter metallic bonding.

• It has high melting and boiling point than other metals.

• d - orbital is absent in it's valence shell.

• It is less reactive than other metals.
