Tropical rainforest

1. It continously rain almost every day

2. they are at their best in areas having more than 200 CM of rainfall with the short dry season

3. since the region is warm and wet throughout the year it has a luxuriant vegetation of all kinds -trees ,shrubs and ,Creepers give it a multilayered structure .

Tropical deciduous forest

1. they are the most widespread forest of India

2. they are also called monsoon forest and spread over the region receiving rainfall between 200 cm and 70 cm

3. trees of this forest type shed their leaves about 6 to 8 weeks in dry summer

In the tropical rainforest the hot and wet climate of this region give rise to dense looser and vegetation .These forests are also called rainforest or silver .The trees are tell with hardwood and broad leave that from a thick canopy at the top. This prevents sunlight from patenting into the forest and the interiors are dark and damp Mosses and Ferns grow on the ground climbers and Creepers like Linus grow around the tree trunks .Ebony ,mahogany, Rosewood, rubber and cinchona are the important tree found in this forest. A large variety of trees are found together in small area making commercial utilisation of this forest difficult .

The rainforest are rich in different spices of wildlife a variety of trees animals are found such as monkey apps lots bats tree lizard and tree iguanas.




TROPICAL DECIDUOUS FORESTS
These are found in the monsoon India.(India Pakistan Bangladesh Sri Lanka Myanmar.......................)
Also known as monsoon forest, these are less dense that rainforest. The leaves is shed in dry season.there is a dense undergrowth of brushes and Sharab.the trees Indus forests are commercially very valuable some of the important trees are taksal Sandalwood see some bamboo and eucalyptus.
