(b) this period witnessed intense rivalry and formation of groups among nation states over trade and colonies as well as over naval and military might .One can give example of the first and second world war in this century

(c) the idea of nation state became well acepted and endorsed in colonies who waged an anti imperial struggle and led movement for independent nation state in the colonies
