The following are the three steps to solve the problems of land degradation:

1. Crop rotation: it is a method of growing a set of different or different varieties of crops in the same field in sequenced terms. This method helps in the replenishment of the land.

2. Contouring farming: this type of farming can be used since the practice of tilling a sloped field with lines of constant altitude in order to store rainwater and to overcome soil wastes from surface erosion.

3. Drilling of shelter-belts, check on overgrazing and stabilization of soil knoll by raising sharp shrubs.
