4 values promoted by print culture- 

1. women empowerment
print media highlighted problems women were facing. social reformers wrote about the poor and unfair treatment of women, called for abolishment of inhuman practices like sati pratha, child marriage and called for education of women to create mass awareness. 

2. nationalism 
print culture had a big hand in promoting feeling of nationalism specially during war of independence. it created a culture of questioning the authority and highlighted the ideas of democracy, socialism, equality, sovreigninty etc. which fueled and inspired the young minds.

3. voice against discrimination
print culture shed a light on the centuries long caste system and discrimination. social reformers like b.r ambedkar, jyotiba phule etc wrote about untouchability, bad condition of low caste and injustices done to them to create awareness. 

4. promotion of education 
print culture promoted new ideas, logical reasoning and scientific thoughts. it highlighted the need of education for all, as it can be a tool for bringing about social change.
