(i) SECULAR - Government will not favour any religion. all are free to practice any religion.

(ii) DEMOCRATIC- All the people are have equal political freedom and rights. People can vote anyone as their representative.

(iii) SOVEREIGN - No external power can dictate the government of India. people have the supreme right to make decisions.

(iv) REPUBLIC - The head of the state is chosen by the people but not by any hereditary rule.

(v) FRATERNITY- All the people of India are like brother and sister where no one is inferior or superior.
