Five factors which contributed to the making of our constitution are -
1.) Constituent assembly - It consisted of indirectly elected members of the provisional legislative assemblies who completed the drafting of Indian constitution.
2.) Foreign constitutions - Several features of constitution are borrowed from other country's constitution. Our constitution is a mixture of several good features of many country's constitution.
3.) Preamble - The idea of preamble is taken from British constitution. It serves as a key to understand the constitution.
4.) Need of rule and law - It was one of the factor which led to making of constitution since for the smooth functioning of such a big country, rules and regulations are needed.
5.) Directive principles and fundamental duties - In order to provide equality and duties that need to be followed by all people, there was a need of constitution.
All this factors along with few more, led to the making of our constitution.
