Adivasis have been stereotyped in various ways-:
1. Since a little information is available about Adivasis they have been blamed for lack of advancement and resistant to change.
2. They speak different language and follow different customs and tradition from the majority community like Hindus.They have been described as -exotic, primitive and backward
3.They have also been stereotyped because of their colourful costumes, headgears and different forms of dancing
