Strava Running and cycling application that tracks distance, spped, elevation, calories burned, heart rate, power, and cadence.

Fitbit app that keeps track of weight, height, calories, goals to achieve, a graph of activities (walking, running, cycling) to compare achievement on a regular basis. This app even has provision for suggestion on nutrition, diet etc to suit one’s need.

Fooducate app that makes shopping fun. While shopping one could open the app, scan barcodes, get to read of how healthy each item is. Also supposed to give some input on sleep, mood, hunger levels and analysis of all information collected and gives feedback to help meet health and fitness goals.

My fitness pal is a popular health and fitness app in the world that has a database of more than 6 million foods and makes it easier to track one’s diet irrespective of what one eats. The app gives suggestions on best things to eat to meet one’s health goals.

Shopwell is another app that is personalised in its service. When weight, height, age, allergies and it scores every food one can think of, that could be healthy. The score closer to 100 means better. Even individual recommendations are made for similar, healthier items to eat instead.
