Reasons in which women are discriminated in India are: ➡ In rural areas, the women get lower wages than men. ➡ Even though they do the same work as men, they get paid less. ➡ They get paid less because, since ancient times there is a belief that men should go out and work and women should stay in the house and cook and take care of households  ➡ They mostly work in areas where there is no job security. ➡ They are less educated and have less work skills. ➡ Although women who are educated are paid at par with men. ➡ Among all the sectors, they are mostly attracted to teaching and medicine sectors. ➡ Women are even getting in the field of technical competence.
