Explanation:
Liberal democracy emphasises the separation of powers, an independent judiciary and a system of checks and balances between branches of government. Liberal democracies are likely to emphasise the importance of the state being a Rechtsstaat, i.e. a state that follows the principle of rule of law.

Answer:
characteristics of a liberal democracy are:
- The worst rise to the top. Sociopathic narcissists win because they will say and do what ever it takes to win. If the people want guaranteed income he will promise to get the voters something for nothing.
- The Majority will want free stuff and are resentful of the successful hard working. Thus a main characteristic is that the majority will try to live at the expense of the productive.
- Elimination of private property rights. In democracies people vote to live at others expense. That means the pols and government will take the private property of the successful in order to pay off those who voted themm in. This will work for a little while.
- Poverty and resentment by the majority of people because the productive people will not work if the government takes their property.
- In the end it will be a despotic government like guess where? Venezuela. Misery and poverty for everyone but a few elite that once elected decide to become dictators.
Hope it helps .
