Five essential elements of the diet are :-

Vitamins.

They are usually considered as important nutrients in human body. They help to increase your immune system, heal wounds and helps bones to become stronger.

vitamins are divided into 13 types :-

  1. Vitamin A
  2. Vitamin B
  3. Vitamin C
  4. Vitamin D
  5. Vitamin E
  6. Vitamin K
  7. Folate
  8. B12
  9. B6
  10. Biotin
  11. Niacin
  12. Thiamine
  13. Riboflavin

Protein.

Protien are a form of energy to the body. They supply oxygen to each cell in the body. Protiens help human body to grow, to maintain pH levels, to immune health and many more. Protien are usually formed by amino acids.

Protien can be found in entire human body.

Fats.

Fats usually refers to the oily or greasy substance found in tissue of plants and even in some animals.

Fats usually divides into 4 types:- Saturated, Polysaturated, Monounssturated and Transfat.

Carbohydrates.

Organic compound present in food which consists of starch, sugar and even cellulose is known as carbohydrates.

Carbohydrates are usually composed of oxygen, hydrogen and carbon.

Minerals.

They usually refers to the elements necessary for a Human body to develop function.These are naturally in organic elements.

Minerals found in food are zinc, iodine, magnese and many more.
