FACTORS OF SOIL FORMATION :
Relief, parent rock, climate , vegetation and time are important factors in soil formation. Various forces of nature, such as change in temperature, amount of rainfall, Humidity, action of running water, wind, and activities of decomposers contribute to the Formation of Soil.
• Climate : Rainfall and temperature influence rate of humans and weathering .
• Organisation : i.e :- Microorganisms and vegetation affect the rate of humus formation.
• Relief : Altitude and slope determine the accumulation of Soil.
• Parent Rock : It determines , colour, texture, chemical properties, mineral centent and permeability of Soil.
• Time : It determines thickness of Soil profile.

Answer:
1. parent rock - the original rock from which soil is formed is known as the parent rock for example- the black soil is derived from the lava rock
2.the topography- tropical variation affect the thickness of soil cover
3.the climate-climate factors like temperature and rainfall affect the soil formation
4.the vegetation cover- at times plant grow in the cracks existing in a rock
5. time-a thin of soil takes thousands of years to develop
