The main features of the Constitution 1791 was : -
1. It give the power to make laws in the National assembly, which was indirectly elected.
2. only men above 25 years of age who paid taxes equal to at least 3 days of a labourer's wage were given the status of active citizen and they had right to vote....
3. The remaining men and women were classified as passive citizen.
4. The Constitution of 1791 began with a declaration of the rights of man and citizen. Rights such as right to life, freedom of speech, freedom of opinion, equality before law, were establish as "natural and inalienable" rights.
