Adolf Hitler led the totalitarian movement in Germany known as Nazism which was national socialism.
The National Socialist German Workers' Party(NSDAP) developed its ideology under Hitler.
- Authoritative: The Nazis desired a strong sense of government. They enforced its policies, the decisions were made by the leader with absolute power. No other parties were tolerated other than NSDAP.
- Totalitarianism: According to Nazis, state power had few limits and extended into all aspects of German political, social, and cultural life.
- Nationalism: Nazism was a nationalist ideology it was only concerned with German interests. They only negotiated with international treaties to fulfill their objectives.
- Militarism: They believed in expanding their military forces. The culture and organization of the party were militaristic.
- Racial theories: They discriminated against the Jews and Nazis considered Aryans with blonde hair and blue eyes as the master class.
