i) the peninsular plateau was formed due to the breaking up and drifting of Gondwana land.
ii) Plateau contains igneous and metaphoric rocks.
iii) the plateau is the storehouse of minerals.
iv) the average height of the plateau is 900m.
v) the Deccan plateau is one the most ancient landmasses.

It doesn't contains igneous and metamorphic rocks but this plateau is made by these ancient igneous and metamorphic rocks......
