The beginning of 20th century saw a massive industrial revolution, which brought some social changes and a new social class emerged as a result of this industrialization.

The standard of living improved to a huge extent due to the employment of more people in these industries.

The economic condition of the common people also improved and the vast distinction between the rich and the poor became much lesser.

The long hours of labor decreased for these industrial employees, for which they could spend more quality time with their families.

Many women also started running their independent businesses, which brought them at par with the male members of their families.
