SATYAGRAHA

satyagraha was a noble method of mass agitation. according to Gandhi ji-

(I)Satyagraha means power of truth and the need to search for truth.

(i)Idea of satyagraha suggested that if the cause was true,if the struggle was against injustice, then physical force, tanks, aircrafts, guns are not needed to fight the oppressor.

(iii)One can achieve swaraj by appealing to the conscience of the oppressor.
