1.increase in population of India is leading to increase in demand of produce, therefore, forests are being cut down, but that is leading to droughts and soil erosion so... that’s a bummer
2.the rainfall in India is not regular and come in short spells of high intensities, so the water tends to flow away rapidly leaving a minimum for the farmers to use
3.India receives rainfall only for four months and suffers droughts in most areas of agriculture
4.farming in black soil is a tough job because- due to the high clay content of black soil, it is highly retentive and so it tends to expand when wet, therefore, black soil needs to be tilled right after it rains
