The rich bio-diversity of India faces many challenges and threats. The main three challenges are

1) Increasing pollution

2) Deforestation

3) illegal infiltration and illegal trade.

Deforestation need to be reduced to a large extent because forests are home to millions of millions of animals and insects.

Increased pollution is a serious threat to bio diversity as living beings are affected by pollution.

Illegal trade and infiltrations changes the demography and loss of property and life thus affecting biodiversity.
