The three challenges faced by the rich biodiversity of India are
1. Climate change: Rapid, man-made climate change speeds up the process of alteration of life on earth, leading to endangerment and ultimately extinction of many species.
2. Deforestation and loss of habitat: Tropical rain forests such as Amazon contain a high percentage of world's flora and fauna, yet they are on the verge of decline to human encroachment.
3. Pollution: It negatively affects the ecosystems around the world, disrupting them completely, thus changing the breeding and feeding habits of the species which inhabit the ecosystem.
