Any three demands of the Sri Lankan Tamils are:

1. Their language i.e. Tamil should be given equal status with that of the            Sinhala language.

2. Their should be no discrimination between them and the Sinhala residents      of Sri Lanka in government jobs and university posts.

3. Their religion whether Hinduism or Christianity should be equally          respected with that of Buddhism.
