(i)   Introduction of Green Revolution with the help of HYV seeds, increased the yield up to 3200 kg per hectare.

(ii) Increasing production by multiple cropping and use of modern farming methods.

(iii) Water table was reduced.

(iv) Loss of soil fertility was associated with Green Revolution.
