1) Foreign goods and clothes were burnt and boycotted. The traders and merchants refused to trade in foreign goods.
2) Exports of England to India declined drastically. The results were drastic- exports dropped from ₹102 crores in 1921 to ₹57 crores.
3) As people boycotted foreign goods, Indian industries began to expand. Native industrialist expanded industries and became rich and powerful.
