aAnswer:

The three factors which affect the mechanism of monsoon are:-

1) The differntiated heating and cooling of land and water creates low pressure on the landmass of India while the seas around experiences comparitively high pressure.

2) The position of Inter Tropical Convergence zone (ITCZ) in summer shift over the ganga plains. This is the equitorial through normally positioned about 5 degree North of the equator. It is also known as the monsoon through during the monsoon season.

3) The high pressure area exists east of Madagascar, approximately at 20 degree South over the Indian ocean. The intensity and position of this high pressure area effects the Indian Monsoon.
