\mathfrak{\huge{\pink{Answer}}}

➡️ A large number of peninsular rivers are seasonal.

➡️ These rivers have shorter and shallower courses.

➡️ Some of them originate in the central Highlands and flow towards east.

➡️ Most of these rivers originate in the Western Ghats and flow towards the Bay of Bengal.

Hi there,

Here's your Answer you are Looking for :

Penisular rivers includes

Krishna,Kaveri,mahanadi,Tapi and godavari.The main water divide in peninsular rivers is formed by the Western Ghats.

Features:

1.Most of them are seasonal,not perennial.

2.Their erosive activity is very less.

3.They flow in shallow Valleys.

4.They flow in straight and linear courses due to hard rocky bed and they lack in silt and sand.

Hope it has Help !
