2. Filing petition and attending court sessions consume time.
3. Most purchases are small retail purchases and no receipt is given. Hence evidence is hard to produce.

The following are the limitations of consumer redressal process in India:
It is a time and wealth consuming process. It consists a lot of paper work and takes a lot of power and literacy utilization to proceed. There is a lot of corruption too in this department. Many proffessionals also join with the businessmen as they attract them with the money.
