Three powers of supreme court of India:
- ORIGINAL JURISDICTION: Court has the authority to hear a case when its first brought to court . It extend to all the cases between Govt. of India and states of India or between Govt. and state on one side or one or more state on the other side.
- APPELLATE JURISDICTION: Supreme court hears appeals against the judgements of the high courts.
- ADVISORY JURISDICTION: Advices the President on legal matters and constitutional issues.
