By the turn of 19th century, cotton weavers faced problems:-

*their export market collapsed and the local market shrank.

*they could not get sufficcient supply of g00d quality cotton.

*by the end of 19th century, factories were set up in India. These too started flooding the market with machine goods.

Hope this will help u... :-)

Cotton weavers in india thus faced two problems at the same time:

1) their export market collapsed and the local market shrank being glutted with Manchester imports.

2) produced by machine at lower costs, the imported cotton good were so cheap that weaver could not easily compete with them.
