Explain any three provisions of the Treaty of Vienna of 1815.

Provisions of Treaty of Vienna :

(a) Bourbon dynasty was restored to power in France.
(b) France lost territories annexed under Napoleon.
(c) The kingdom of Netherlands was set up in North and Genoa was added to Piedmont in the South.

The Treaty of Vienna 1815 was convened to provide a long-term peace plan for Europe by settling critical issues caused by Napoleonic Wars and the French Revolutionary wars.

The three provisions of the treaty are :

I.  The Bourbon dynasty which had been deposed during the French Revolution was restored to power.

2.  Russia was given part of Poland while as Prussia was given a portion of Saxony.

3. Prussia was given new territories to its west and Austria was given control of northern Italy.
