The Treaty of Vienna 1815 was convened to provide a long-term peace plan for Europe by settling critical issues caused by Napoleonic Wars and the French Revolutionary wars.
The three provisions of the treaty are :
I. The Bourbon dynasty which had been deposed during the French Revolution was restored to power.
2. Russia was given part of Poland while as Prussia was given a portion of Saxony.
3. Prussia was given new territories to its west and Austria was given control of northern Italy.
