✬ What is a Shock?

{⟹}The heart pumps blood through the blood vessels, carrying oxygen around the body. The heart and blood vessels together form the circulatory system. Circulatory system is a medical condition which develops when insufficient oxygen reaches the tissues because the circulatory system has failed.

✬ The circulatory system may fail in the following two ways :

• The heart pump isn't working sufficiently well, or stops.

• Insufficient fluid (blood or other blood fluids) is circulating around the body.

{⟹}Circulatory shock is a life-threatening condition which needs urgent treatment.

➡ Hypovolemic shock

➡ Cardiogenic shock

➡ Rapid swallow breathing

➡ Anaphylactic shock

➡ Septic Shock

➡ Electric Shock

\pink{★} Hypovolemic Shock :-

{⟹}Decrease in blood and plasma volume (bleeding internal or external features of burns).

\pink{★} Cardiogenic Shock :-

{⟹}Weakness of the heart with inablity to pump blood (myocardial infraction, ventricular tachycardia or fibrillation).

\pink{★} Neurogenic Shock :-

{⟹}Failure of CNS to control the vascular system (pain, fear or spinal injuiry).

\pink{★} Anaphylactic Shock

{⟹}It is called allergic due to insect stings or antibiotics.

\pink{★} Septic Shock :-

{⟹}Due to micro-organisms and infection.

\pink{★} Electric Shock :-

{⟹}Person exposed electric shock heel nausea or may become unconscious the high electric shock may lead to cardiac arrest or respiratory failure and burns may appear on victim's body.
