Two factors that determines that determines the temperature of a place are as follows :-

1) Altitude :-

  • The amount of atmosphere in the surrounding decreases as we go up higher in the altitudes and also it results in the decreased amount of water vapour present in the air.
  • At the places of higher altitudes , the atmosphere is not able to absorb more heat which results in the dropping of temperature at the higher altitudes.

2) Humidity :-

  • Humidity is said to be amount of water vapour present in the air.
  • It has it's influence over the clouds present in the sky.
  • Since , humidity is directly proportional to the amount of clouds.
  • Therefore , more the humidity in the atmosphere , more would be the formation of clouds.
  • Lesser the humidity , there would be less amount of clouds in the atmosphere.
