Explain any two features of industry on the eve of independence ?

1) Co-existence of large and small industries:-

* both large and small industries co- exist side by side in india.

*iron and steel, cotton textile,cement etc are among the major large industries.

2) Regional disparties:-

* wide regional disparties exist in the industrial sector.

* the states like bihar, assam , MP ,sikkim , HP are industrially backward.
