1) “Human beings are curious by nature.” – Aristotle

-> We humans have a deeply curious nature, and more often than not it is about the minor tittle-tattle in our lives. Our curiosity has us doing utterly unproductive things like reading news about people we will never meet, learning topics we will never have use for, or exploring places we will never come back to.

2) “The energy of the mind is the essence of life.” – Aristotle

-> The use of the mind is the essence of life. Probably about rationality and thinking.

That language is more poetic. But what I read said that it was just working or productive.

To more accurately reflect the true meaning, I would suggest the real source of insight would come from Aristotle’s understanding of the nature of the mind and the purpose of the mind over the focus on “energy.”
