The himadri:it is also known as greater Himalayas.It is the northernmost and highest range.Most of the peaks are seen here.
The himachal:It is known as lesser himalaya.Most of the hill stations are located here.
The shivalik:It is also known as outer Himalaya. Its average height is 900-1100m.

1)It is known as greater Himalayas and it's average height is 6000 m.
2)The glaciers Gangotri and Yamunotri are found here from where the Ganga and Yamuna river originates.
Himachal-
1)It is known as lesser Himalayas and it's average height is 4500m.
2)It is covered with evergreen and oak forests and corniferous forests and important hill stations are located here.
Shiwalik-
1)It is known as outer Himalayas and it's average height is 1250 m.
2)Alongvthe foothills of shiwalik,the plains have a deposition of gravel,pebbles and sand brought down by the rivers.This is known as Bhabar.
