⚫Democracy is a form of government in which the rulers of any country elected by citizens. In democracy people can raise their voice against any discrimination happening against them. The world Democracy is derived from two words 'demos' (It means people) and 'kratia' (It means rule).

✴Two basic principles of democracy are:-

▶Respecting citizens and their rights - In democracy all the citizens of a country are given equal respect. the government is made by people so it should serve them also. If any government don't fulfill the needs of people, then all citizens have the right to remove it.

▶Rule of law - Rule of law means that law is equally important for every citizen even if it is a rich person on poor. Democracy states that we cannot go beyond the law. If a person has broken a law he / she will be punished even if he / she is a president or a normal citizen.
