➡ The two utilitiy software present in the windows 7 are :-

( i ) MSConfig
( ii ) Registry editor

➡ ( i ) MSConfig :- MSConfig is a system utility designed to troubleshoot the Microsoft Windows startup process. It can disable or re-enable software, device drivers or Windows services that run at startup, and it can change boot parameters.

MSConfig is easy to use and helps you troubleshoot a lot of Windows 7 boot problems. You can easily modify how the system boots (boot files), the system services, and the startup files on either a temporary or a permanent basis. This makes MSConfig an extremely useful troubleshooting utility.

➡ USE :- used to speed up your Boot times and to streamline what loads where and when as your system starts up.

➡ ( ii ) Registry editor :- it is a database that stores a wide variety of configuration settings. Nearly all configuration settings included with Windows are stored here.

Third-party programs can also use the registry to store their settings, although they can also store settings in configuration files – the choice is up to each program.

➡ WARNINGS :- Be careful when editing the registry. Don’t go into the registry editor and delete anything or change a setting unless you know exactly what you’re doing. If you do know what you’re doing and are careful to modify only the correct values, you shouldn’t have any problems.

Utility Software are basically Anti-viruses. So you can write QuickHeal AntiVirus and Kaspersky Internet security Antivirus.
