Hey!
___________________
Archimedes principal states that buoyant force applied on the body is equal to the water displaced by it. And it also states that each object loses weight whether partially or fully immersed in water.
For example,
When you immerse a piece of wood , it will displace water and will float or sink according to the upthrust applied on it.
Now, your numerical's answer, it seems something is missing. Like, check if mass is given or not. Do tell me whatever is there, I will try to solve.
