\huge\underline\textbf{Reproduction}

The process of giving birth to the young ones is called reproduction.

Types of reproduction :

→ Sexual reproduction

→ Asexual reproduction

Here,we will discuss about asexual reproduction.

\huge\underline\mathcal{Asexual\:Reproduction}

→ The type of reproduction which includes only one parent, i. e either male or female is called Asexual reproduction.

→ This involves two types :

Budding

Binary Fission

\underline\textbf{Budding}

In asexual reproduction, we take an example of hydra here, the buldge protruding out of its body is called a bud. The bud grows on the body of parent hydra. Later on, the bud grows and gets detached from the parent hydra. Then, the new individual is formed.

→ Main example taken here is hydra.

Refer to attachment number 1 for more information.

\underline\textbf{Binary\:Fission}

In asexual reproduction,we take an example of amoeba here, there a single celled organism called amoeba. First of all,it has a single cell which starts dividing into two cells/nucleus. Futher, that two cells starts detaching and two new daughter amoeba cells are formed.

→ Main example taken here is amoeba.

Refer to attachment number 2 for more information.

More information :-

→ Sexual Reproduction : The type of reproduction which includes both the parents, i.e male and female is called sexual reproduction.

It involves fertilization/fertilisation.

FERTILISATION : The fusion of male gamete(sperm) and female gamete(egg/ova) to form a zygote is called fertilization/fertilisation.

→There are male reproductive organs and female reproductive organs.

Male reproductive organs involves a pair of sperm duct,a pair of testis, and penis.

Female reproductive organs involves a pair of oviduct,a pair ovaries, and uterus.
