Asymmetric synthesis is a chemical reaction in which one or more new element of chirality are formed in a substrate molecule and which produces the stereoisomeric product in unequal amount.

Some example of Asymmetric synthesis Sharpless Asymmetric epoxydation HO HO O Ti (O-iPr) etc
