ATOMS ARE THE BASIC BUILDING BLOCKS OF MATTER THAT MAKES UP EVERY OBJECTS.ATOMS CONTAINS NEUTRONS,PROTONS AND ELECTRON.
NEUTRONS ARE NEUTRALLY CHARGED .THEY ARE LOCATED INSIDE THE NUCLEUS OF THE ATOM.
PROTONS   ARE POSITIVELY CHARGED PARTICLES AND IT IS ALSO FOUND INSIDE THE NUCLEUS.
ELECTRONS ARE NEGATIVELY CHARGED PARTICLES FOUND IN THE SHELLS OF THE ATOM.

atoms are smallest particles of matter present in this universe. they are structural and functional units of matter present in this universe. atoms contains three sub atomic particles
1.Protons.
2.Neutrons.
3.Elecrons
Even there is nucleus also but it is not included in these three. Nucleus is placed in centre of atom.
Protons are positively charged sub atomic particles placed in nucleus.
Neutrons are neutral they have no charge on them. they are also placed in nucleus.
Electrons are negatively charged sub atomic particles. Electrons move in two ways, they revolve around the nucleus as planets do.
while revolving they move up - down. Electrons move in specific axis which are called shells.
