✴When two or more forces act on a body simultaneously then net effect on the body is zero so there is no change in its state.

✴If it is at rest, it will remain at rest and if it is moving it will continue moving with same speed and in same direction.

✴This type of force is called balanced force.

✴We can also say that if the resultant of forces acting on a body is zero, then the forces are said to be balanced forces.

✴Example:- In tug of war for the rope does not move in any direction if the two teams pull the rope with equal effort. The forces exerted by the two teams are equal and opposite and so the force become balanced.
