Hello Mate !!

Base dissolves in water readily.

On adding bases in water , the base undergoes dissociation giving OH^-OH− ions and positive ion in the solution.

This increases the basic nature of solution, thus increasing the K_bK b value.

Answer:

Heya mate......

  • Bases dissolve in water readily.
  • They release OH^- ions when dissolved in water.

For example :- NaOH disassociates in water to form Na^+ ions and OH^- ions.

Hope it helps.....
