We say that man is a social animal. In other words, he cannot live in isolation. He is surrounded by people ever since he is born and he grows up among them. That is natural, to be among people, by participating and contributing to the society.

We also have a group of people whom we term as "introverts". Someone who keeps to himself and doesn't really like interacting with other people. Although introverts don't necessarily mean being alone all the time, most often, they are comfortable that way.

Okay, coming to your question, "being alone has the power that very few people can handle". I have cited few qualities of an introvert above and I'll tell you why. Although they do keep to themselves, being alone all by oneself takes a lot from a person. A lot of times, they may end up being depressed. That is because, they keep bottling up their feelings (unhealthy ones), which, if not expressed, can eat them up from the inside. Also, the case is not just for introverts, it applies to others too.

As such, very few people actually have the power to endure being alone.

Note: This is just my p.o.v. and I've written from my experience. Any error is regretted.

Explanation:

A power lies in being alone. You know your mind is powerful and you can add this power to your own life only when you are alone. Spare some hours from your busy routine for yourself. You need them to construct your life.

There's no such thing like failure for those who never give up. They get up again after they fall. They know they gonna achieve what they want. The only failure lies when you fall down and say "it's over". It's over because you thought it is. Unless the journey continues until you reach to your destination.
