Benzenoid are those compounds which are derived from benzene thus show complete delocalisation in the ring..non benzenoid are not derived from benzene ring but shows proper conjugation nd follows huckel rule.

Answer:

  • Benzenoids: These compounds contain atleast one benzene ring in their structure

eg. Benzene, benzaldehyde, benzoic acid, naphthalene, anthracene, etc.

  • Non-benzenoids: These compounds do not contain any benzene rings in their structure

eg. Furan, thiophene, pyridine, etc.
