the renal artery bringing blood from heart supply kidney and contains impure blood and toxic substances the blood reaches a nephron by afferent arteriole the afferent arteriole splits into no of capillaries into golerulus and leaves golerulus through efferent arteriole that is thinner than afferent arteriole hence the pressure in glomerulus is high due to which every thing in blood comes out from capillaries and only rbc are left behind and and then useful substances like water glucose etc are returned in blood

The blood comes to the kidney for purification after every 4 minute there are 1100l to 2000 l of blood in our body and removed from our body in the form of urine
